My last post began a series on the importance of operating in wisdom as you move through your days. Read that post here. Wisdom is a God-given ability to apply knowledge and understanding to real-life situations, leading to a practical and God-centered discernment.

Do you desire a more joyful and stress-free life? Seek wisdom. I find most of my wisdom in the Bible and the rest are from snippets I've saved or lessons I've learned (usually the hard way).
Here's this week's list:
Be generous with compliments, you just might make someone’s day. I think it's fun to compliment strangers, too.
You may not be able to change your circumstances, but you can change your attitude—and sometimes that makes all the difference in the world. Take a breath. Calm down. You've made it through every bad day so far.
Remember, you can never make the same mistake twice because the second time you make it, it’s not a mistake—it’s a choice. Be responsible with your choices. It can change your life's path.
Make new friends, but keep the old. One is silver, and the other’s gold. Yup, I remember that tune from my days as a Brownie.
Offer a sincere apology, and then don’t ruin it with an excuse. It can make all the difference in a relationship.
It’s always best to err on the side of compassion. You don’t know what someone else is going through. Life is tough; give someone a break.
Nurture your dreams, and do all you can to make them come true. Don’t be sidetracked by naysayers. You'll never know until you try.
Don’t be afraid to try something new. Find out what you need to do, and learn how to do it. There's always an affinity group that can offer support and advice or a video online that might help.
A smile really is your best accessory. Truly.
Floss daily, and get a yearly check-up. Your good health is a gift you give to your loved ones.
The most egregious human rights violation in the world today is abortion. If you don't believe this, please soften your heart. I'm ashamed that our nation seems to care more about puppies and kittens than human babies. Children are a blessing from God.
When someone shows you who they are, believe them! ~Maya Angelou. Don't continue to make excuses for bad behavior or allow someone to be unkind or abusive to you.
Beware of people who are incapable of experiencing joy for others’ accomplishments. They’re petty and jealous and would love to see you fail.
If you’re about to open a canned good and the lid is bulging, don’t! It’s got botulism. Toss it out.
There are big moments in life, but the most important seem to be the little things: a shared laugh, a shared cry, a hug, a kiss, and kindness. Cherish those moments with family and friends.
Trust Jesus, and even in your darkest moments, you’ll never be alone. I wish everyone could understand the comfort and wisdom the Holy Spirit gives to believers.
I've got another installment that I'll post on April 15th. Until then, be blessed, and walk in wisdom, friends!
