Did you know that authors are not rich? In fact, most make less than $10,000 a year. Being an author is a small business.
Write reviews! If there are 50 reviews, Amazon lists a book in its newsletter and other promotions. A review can be short and simple: "I loved this book!"
I have a thing about helping friends, especially cheering on my writer friends. I also
practice what I preach. Last week I bought a book and put it on my social media, saying I couldn't wait to read it. (That's true!)
